This is the third year I have had the pleasure of photographing and designing the Wellington Cats Protection League calendar – this time for 2015. If you don’t know about this non-profit organisation, I invite you to take a look at their website and learn about them. They have been operating for more than 30 years and they do more than a magnificent job helping and re-homing abandoned cats. Wellington Cats Protection League is run solely by volunteers and relies on funding from public donations, fundraising activities, and their members.
All the images were taken at CPL’s shelter in Kingston, and the text on each image page was provided by Rachel Chapman. The photographs couldn’t have been taken without the help of Lorraine Alcock and Monique Tuifao, who both spent lots of time with me and the cats so I could get just the right images. And, of course, thanks to all the cats who were magnificent models for the calendar!
Please visit CPL’s website, and you can help the cats by purchasing one or more 2015 calendars (only $15 + postage!)
The slideshow below shows just the big images from the calendar, and not the actual calendar pages (which also have images of some of the cats that have been already adopted).
You can find images of other kitties on my pet photography page.
