I love happy stories, and this is one of them! Back in 2015 I met a gorgeous furry boy with the cutest short tail at the Cats Protection League, Wellington: Pulah. Everyone at CPL’s shelter was so much in love with him and his curious personality. Pulah got a full page pet portrait in the 2015 CPL calendar, which I had the pleasure of photographing. And this year, because of the new section in the 2017 CPL calendar – Happy Stories – I went to visit Pulah, and to take a few new images of him to see what this boy is up to.
These days, this old boy keeps himself quite busy. Pulah does quality control, and supervises everything that goes on, at the jewellery workshop where his human people work. I was told that Pulah doesn’t miss a thing, including a nice lap nap. And if you are lucky enough, there are days that you might be welcomed by him with a very nice and soft purr.
Everything sparkles even more with Pulah, at The Rolling Mill workshop!
More images of kitties at work and at play are on my pet photography page.
Oooh. He was my mother’s cat. He was so affectionate. He would demand constant patting. Drove her mad but she loved him. His tail got broken one day when he crossed the road. So lovely to see him so happy and cherished.
