Spring is about colour and flavour, and so are macarons!
The beginning of spring, and a photograph of my friend Fanny eating macarons with her gorgeous boy Frank, inspired me to do these shots.
Macarons are one of the most popular French pastries, and they are made with egg whites, ground almonds and sugar. Their hard outer shells are sandwiched together with a soft creamy center that comes in a variety of flavours. If you would like to try macarons, they are available at La Cloche French Cafe.
