I love my work!
Once again I had the pleasure of photographing these amazing furry friends for one of my favourite non-profit organisations in Wellington, the Cats Protection League. This small organisation cares and helps cats to find their forever homes. These cats have been desexed and vet checked before leaving the shelter. It is such a pleasure to volunteer there too. Besides helping the cats you get to meet really nice people so please consider spending your corporate volunteer day at CPL. And remember, if you cannot adopt a cat right now perhaps you could sponsor one. CPL has a CPL sponsor program for some of the very high needs cats.
All the images were taken at CPL’s shelter in Kingston, and the text on each image page was provided by Stephanie, Kris and Amy. The photographs couldn’t have been taken without the help of Katrina and Carol, who both spent lots of time with me and the cats so I could get just the right images. And, of course, thanks to all the cats who were magnificent models for the calendar!
The gallery below shows just the big images from the calendar, and not the actual calendar pages (which also have images of some of the cats that have been already adopted or fostered).
Enough words now, enjoy the images, but best purchase a calendar – they make such a great Christmas present too, don’t you agree? Here is the link to order a calendar:

You can find other cat photography images on my pet folio page.
woowww!!! Wonderful photos!!!year after year it seems that every calendar looks even better than the previous one. I feel proud of have been there (just for a few hours helping you)
Thanks Carol, it was so good to have you there helping me. And it was so much fun photographing these lovely furry friends. I’m really hoping that CPL gets to sell every single copy and that all the cats featured here get their forever home before Christmas. Thanks for leaving a message.
