Happy New Year! And what better way to start the new year with pics of all the gorgeous kitties in the 2022 Outpawed calendar?
I was once again thrilled to take the photos for this charity’s fund-raising calendar. Sales of the calendar raise funds for the Outpawed Rescue Trust. Outpawed protects cats and kittens that have been abused, abandoned or forgotten in the Wellington region and Palmerston North.
Outpawed’s cats and kittens available for adoption are all desexed, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and registered, as well as vaccinated. Outpawed also runs a Trap-Neuter-Return programme for those adult cats that may find it difficult to socialise.
Unlike a number of other cat charities, Outpawed does not have a shelter. Rescued cats and kittens stay in the foster homes of volunteers until they are adopted out to their forever homes. And the photos of the cats in this year’s calendar were all taken at the homes of some of those wonderful fosterers and adopters.
