Neko Ngeru Cat Café – Petone:
Neko Ngeru Cat Café is Wellington’s very first cat adoption cafe! Cait Sith (below) is the ‘in residence’ cat, and is a bit of a poser!
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Neko Ngeru’s ‘soft’ opening, and had the opportunity to photograph some of the other kitties too, for use in postcards to promote the café.
Neko means ‘cat’ in Japanese, and ngeru means ‘cat’ in Maori, so the lovely Japanese and American owners say that they have a Cat Cat Cat Adoption Cafe! They officially opened on 18th November, and take bookings online to ensure you get appropriate cat cuddles time.
You can find Neko Ngeru Cat Cafe in Petone – my home ‘village’ – at 291 Jackson Street.
Below are some images of their gorgeous furry ones.
If you like these images, please feel free to check out the blogpost on my Street Cats of the World exhibition, hosted by Neko Ngeru, as well as my pet photography page.
And if you are thinking about promoting your local business, you might consider getting some business in action shots.
Lovely photos:)
