Let me start this post by telling you how much I love trees. So every time I have the chance to shoot in an area surrounded by trees, I’m really happy. I met Jack and Caroline – ballet dancers originally from the States – for the first time on the day of their engagement shoot, and was thrilled they wanted a forested background and then a bit of sea: two things you can easily find in Wellington. So I headed off into the wooded hills of the city with them, and then we ended their engagement session at Tarakena Bay, to catch the last of the evening light.
