Russell and Hilda ~ Soi Café & Silverstream Retreat wedding:
Russell and Hilda were married at Soi Café at Greta Point among a small group of family and friends. The big surprise for Hilda was that Russell had flown her son from Namibia and he arrived just that morning! Bridal party images were taken around Oriental Bay and at the Botanic Gardens. A bigger reception followed that evening at Silverstream Retreat in Upper Hutt where they danced to really cool music including some Namibian tunes.
Thanks to my second photographer of the day, Fergus Cunningham, who took the image of Russell and Hilda walking by the blue boatsheds in Oriental Bay.

What a lovely couple! Love to see images where the bride and groom are having a great time instead of just posing images. And I love how the bride looks at the groom just before the exchange of rings, so beautiful!
